Tom Davies has been Chairman of the Fareham Conservatives since 2022, succeeding Tony Barnett. Previously Tom had been Social & Media officer for the Association.
Tom was born and raised in Hampshire, going to school in Petersfield, and he currently works in Waterlooville. He has lived in Fareham for a number of years.
As Chairman he has prioritised electoral success and introduced our Strategic Action Plan, working hard with our Council Group on campaigns such as Voting Intention collection, surveys, canvassing, action days, postal vote drives and membership sign up months.
Events have seen a resurgence under Tom's leadership, including a recent Brexit Conference with Suella Braverman and other prominent Brexiteers. Many thousands have pounds have been raised by these events for the local party for use on important upcoming elections.
Tom won the Fareham East ward from the Liberal Democrats in 2018, the first such time a Conservative won the seat this century. He has also led on other successful campaigns including our 2022 by-election win in Portchester East, another long term Lib Dem held seat.
In his spare time Tom enjoys spending time with his family and cat, attending football matches, going to the pub, and golf - although he's the first to admit he isn't very good at it.
