Suella Fernandes will be chairing a debate in Fareham about the UK’s membership of the European Union. The debate will take place on Saturday 11th June 2016 with Ben Howlett MP is speaking on behalf of Remaining and Ian Brown, Portsmouth businessman, is speaking in favour of Leaving.
This event is being held for the benefit of Fareham constituency residents. If you live in the Fareham constituency, you are welcome to apply for tickets. To do so, please email [email protected] with the full name and address of each person requiring a ticket. Alternatively, applications can be made by post. If you require any specific access arrangements please contact my office.
The deadline for applying for tickets is 1st June. Any applications received after the closing date will be considered subject to ticket availability.
Demand is likely to be high and we are unable to guarantee tickets. If demand exceeds supply, a ballot will be held.
You will be notified if your application for tickets has been successful. Details of the event will be confirmed once tickets have been allocated.
This event follows the Fareham Conservative association EU Debate for members hosted by Suella Fernandes which included Julian Lewis MP speaking in favour of leaving the EU and Major General Jonathan Shaw CBE CB speaking in favour of remain. This event was hugely popular, and with the EU referendum fast approaching there was only standing room left for the debate.
